Though this world may be a Hell in the making,
We have no way of undoing what has been done,
All we can do is continue waiting,
For our damning of ourselves to be done.
Us humans don't know what is to come,
Because we're obsessed with luxury,
And are more concerned with fun,
Rather than the country we have to run.
There is no truth in what we're told,
Humans are taken for granted by the Man,
Left in the darkness, blind and cold,
Without an offer for a hand,
One would think we'd help each other stand up,
Aid one another just to find the truth,
But instead we're too selfish and think only of ourselves,
Especially towards the youth,
Our lies have already consumed us,
There's no excuse for our sour behavior,
Only children can be spared for what they've done,
They're the only ones who don't need a savior.
